The UN Human Rights Committee called on Iran to respect the rights of ethnic and religious minorities, including the Arab Ahwazi people.
The UN report stated that Iran continues discrimination policies against:
- Arab Ahwazis
- Kurds
- Baluchis
- Azerbaijanis
The report demanded Iran stop political executions and allow education in native languages.
